The IELTS administrator (working in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy/Consulates-General) is inviting IELTS teachers from your organisation to attend the two-day IELTS Teacher’s workshop in Tianjin on 10 and 11 December 2013 .
We have designed this workshop to help your teachers of IELTS to be more confident and capable in helping your students prepare for the test. We are aware that in China, as in many countries, a lot of people taking the IELTS test aim to get a score of 6.5 or higher in Speaking and Writing. However, many people who take the test get a Speaking or Writing score of 5.0 or 5.5. We have carefully focussed this workshop on the challenge for many teachers of how to help students bridge this gap. So, to be clear, this workshop will focus only on IELTS Speaking and Writing and on those students who need to progress from a level of around a score of 5.0 to 6.5 or higher.
